La Mercer Church

It dates from XVI century. Their altars are richly decorated. Its custodia is considered the most artistic and beautiful of the country and second biggest of the world. This Custodia weighs 22 kilos, measures 1.3 meters high, it has 1.805 diamonds embedded and also 615 precious stones like rubies, topazes and emeralds. The convent is very known by its beautiful baroque cloisters adorned of matchless carved walls and cealings and viceregal paintings.
